The NY21 race is quiet now, especially out west where things were most contentious. Not even a post primary victory lap, which may be by design to allow time for the dust to settle. It hasn't settled in some quarters, but for others its done and time to move on to November.
There are still parades being manned by volunteers with banners and GOP candidate Elise Stefanik will be campaigning out west in mid July.
An appearance by Aaron Woolf at the Jefferson County Fair on Tuesday was cut short by the storm.
There has been no post primary interviews in media, but as they say on Arcade Street, 'its not our job to promote local politicians for free.'
It will be interesting to see if there is coverage of either Mr. Woolf or Ms. Stefanik, or whether we will wait till commercials are bought and then do a news story on who is being too negative.
