Sarah Palin to Washington: "Get over yourself" - CBS News

In a fiery and very entertaining speech to conservatives, Sarah Palin said its time to admit it, that President Obama won and that conservatives need to stop preaching to the choir and start growing their ranks.

It was a retort to Mitt Romney's "47% speech" and a message she buttressed by saying those who disagree are not the enemy but our sisters, brothers and neighbors.
I liked her tone, and especially part where she brought out the Big Gulp soda.
Of course, Democrats will reflexively react to her in a visceral way,but so what.

She is a jerk. Why would she attack Mitt Romney in any way? She feeds the MSN democrat campaign and helps them in misquoting the 47% out of context.

Or is that just the CBS spin on her speech?

If you actually look into what people think that didn't vote for Romney, you would see they are all idiotic misinformed dunces.

They bought into the war on womin.
They knew what binders of womin was code for.

They bought into hating him because he was rich. The only rich guy in politics apparently.

They bought into the lie that he was a vulture capitalist and that he was not a very good one. That story was pushed by the WSJ and his opponents in the primaries pushed it too.

It wasn't the choir Mitt was talking about it was the swing vote undecided he was talking about.

Is she really relavant anymore? Or is she just an entertainer like Rush and the rest? Demands big money for speaking and I admire her for taking advantage of that...but irrelevant as hell as far as I can tell. Could she win any election? Don't know and don't care. Dumb but cute is my assessment. Can't hate a girl for that!

Interesting how the media jackals love to hate Palin. She never said she could see Russia from her house, a jackal did. Letterman referred to her grandson as a bastard. So is his son and probably Obama! The only part of her speech that the jackals talk about is her drink of soda. Pathetic.

Can't hate her for doing what most of us would love to but are not asked or given the chance. She protested a dumb ass law that can't even stand up to the paper it's written on (with magic marker). That's my problem with our capital and their wacky new laws. It's all written on a marker wash board till some one says they like it. Then they put it to pen. Good for her saying stepping up and saying what the rest of us can't.

I agree also with the fact you can't hate her because the Dems told you to.

Could she win any election? Don't know and don't care.

Don't care but you bothered to type the question anyway???

Of course she could win an election.
Obama won 6 more states than she did. Chances are she could win an election in any of the 22 states she won.

Could Nancy Pelosi or Dianne Feinstein win an election in any state or city that is not currently on the verge of bankruptcy...both financially and morally? Could either of them win the governess election in Alaska?

She is stupid??? Did she ever say that unemployment is one of the best economic stimuli? Did she ever pronounce it Corpse-man?

Nope...her crime is that she faked knowing the definition of a neologism that only existed in the mind of the interviewer and a few other pseudo-intellects, but had not been accepted by academia and has since been rejected for its unoriginal meme.

Gasp , isn't HER 15 minutes up ,what a schrill harpie .

But in reality any opposing party will gladly let that form of bias , divisiveness go on display for all to see . It is in direct opposition to the so called attempt by the GOP to be kinder, gentler , more inclusive of minorities YET the message Palin delivers is ANYTHING but that :) it is divisive , condesending and intolerant

MY god the GOP political machine must be on the fast track to the boneyard , where in blazes are the gurus to save it ???

Sarah...? When a Fox News Poll says that 71% of Republicans {Fox, Republicans, mind you} don’t want Sarah Palin to run for President… I think it’s safe to say she is becoming increasingly irrelevant…

Perhaps they came to the same conclusion that most thinking Americans did a long time ago: In spite of her nifty little one-liners... Sarah Palin is a media whore who only cares about herself.

I suspect the day will come, when this former untouchable icon of the right will be begging the “Gotcha MSM” for attention. In the meantime, she will continue to steal from what is left of her gullible and misguided followers.
