Post Standard: A Superintendent's Secret But "Generous" Out-The-Door Deal

Why is it golden parachutes and buyouts  are kept secret by school boards and they get away with it.
In a Central NY district, the Superintendent took a "generous" early-out and the media has no inkling of the reason or the terms.
We can only assume the taxpayers took another beating.

It is a god thing we have small school districts with sommmmmmmmme local control via BOE and only 800 school districts. If this were a trooper, firefighter DOT administrator, then they would have just been allowed to serve in the position until retirement as incompetent boobs. (as long as they didn't talk to the media)
