Gov. Cuomo And Legislative Leaders Close In On Budget Deal/ Locally Budget Preps Underway | New York Daily News

     Governor Cuomo is going to deliver a pre-Easter budget and once it's done we can scour it to find out the little details and nuances that affect individuals and businesses.
     There's still mystery over just what the minimum wage bill will be, but something will be passed.
     Speaking of budgets, locally our pension hike is not quite as high as I had feared so my very dire preditions have been scaled back to just dire.  Still a problem, and City Council is expected to meet in an extra meeting later this month to discuss the broad parameters of the upcoming city spending plan.
      I have been a big fan of getting out front and not just acting shocked and awed when the actual document comes out in April......

Pension Smoothing;
will be in the budget Mayor, if Mr. D'Napoli approves it, after evaluating its effect on a $150 Billion in pension monies, he'll likely sign off on it; although he's taking a long look.
