If it was the Watn Police would they have let him go. The sheriff is under tighter scrutiny right now
WE all are human and some use better judgement then others. Unfortunate this person did not exercise good judgement. The Legislators are so quick to investigate the Sherrif maybe they should include DA's office too.

Good thing he wasn't doing something REALLY bad like having an empty 8-round ammo clip in his pocket or having a 'bootleg' case of 2-liter Mountain Dew soda destine for NYC in his trunk.

ANON 11:54; You pretty much hit the nail on the head; I also add, that ,by resigning, he did what was right; not like the phony council person, who feared the police dept. I'd trust the assistant D.A., before some of these other clowns on the city council and sheriffs dept.

They made him resign, so I hope he qualifies for five years of unemployment, Obamabucks and a free cellphone. Drinking alcohol is an illness/disability. Are you people seriously picking on the disabled? Shame.
