Schumer to propose 'Andrew's Law' requiring banks to forgive college loans of deceased students | syracuse.com

I thought the new gun control law was "Andrews Law".
Anyway, now we have to have a law requiring the forgiving of loans for dead people. Well, if somebody co-signed, there is an obligation. If not, there is none. I thought the issue was already settled.
All I know, is if I'm dead, no one pays my Best Buy card off.  Isn't that why they charge a lot of interest ?

I propose that we pay off everyone's loans.
And give Sandra Fluke free birth control pills.
We can get "the rich" to pay for it.

What happened to the days when the state tried to help kids go to school? All the kids need are loans they can afford and backed by a system of people who set limits for them, so they can pay it back. Don't give a kid thousands of dollars to go to a big school they will be lost at anyway. Just enough to get an education at a good state school. Then a plan in hand to pay. No plan by the kid, no money. Just like a loan for small business, that no one can get anymore.
