O'Reilly: I heart Stephanie Miner

Syracuse Mayor Stephanie Miner is getting attention from her broadside against Governor Cuomo's budget and his approach to pension reform.  Columinists are hearting the first term mayor, who says she intends to remain in her post as State Democratic Co-chair.
Whether right or wrong in her criticisms, Ms. Miner cannot afford to back down.  She needs to deliver her message that on matters of mandate relief and pension reform, the Governor should double down and not just look at 2016.
The party hacks and various caucuses who "stand with" whomever they are supposed "stand with" want her scalp, and while I don't know her beyond a brief handshake last year, I like her attitude.

The end of June 2006, I was lying in bed at St. Joe's and the 'cuse Common Council were debating on TV further tax breaks for Congel for Destiny. She was outspoken then and I was very impressed. I was happy to see her elected mayor but she has since done nothing but ignore the crime problem which (the crime problem) is dreadfully out-of-hand. I am no longer impressed. Take on Cuomo? Take on Chief Fowler, Ms. Miner. Take on those who would spend millions on the Connective Corridor linking SU to crime ridden downtown.

Of course you like her attitude, just like you like Crazy Carl's attitude, to say nothing of Matt Doheny's attidude, becuase anything the hurts the Governor or President is just ducky with you.

Call your bluff

Thumbs up for Mayor Minor , cannot be swayed by party hacks and wek kneed council members in Syracuse who are more than willing to bend over for the Gov .

Stand proud Mayor M , you have more gumption than the lot of them !

You have to be pretty old to think "heart" is text message jargon.
I ♥ NY's Mayor Miner

It is funny to see in this blog that Miner is praised for standing up to her party line. Yet Chuck Hagel gets nothing but derision for doing the same thing against his party over the Iraq/surge fiasco. And the teabaggers are always crying about a double standard. Here is a news flash for you Fox dolts. Looks like Miner AND Hagel are right.

hey 4:13..lol ttyl, etc.

Miner isn't being praised for standing up to the party line. She is being stuck up for after telling the truth about Cuomo's fiscal fraud.

If you think Hagel got put through the wringer, simply over his stance on the surge, you are dumber than the decisions Mikey made in running his own company out of business.

That's right 8:35. Hagel also hurt former BFF John McCain's feelings. Boo hoo. Plus he tells it like it is with regard to our "friend" Israel. You are not so dumb as to think there is not a Jewish (Israeli) lobby are you?

Mayor Graham: You have to stop letting creeps like ANON 8:35 state blantant mistruths about me. My LLC was closed and I've been semi-retired since my heart attack. The fact that you let comments like this be placed on your blog is outrageous.

Give Mikey and his friend (alter ego)enough rope and they hang themselves with their exposed antisemitic true colors.

No one questioned Hagel's assertion that the "Jewish" lobby exists.
What was questioned is who he thought was "intimidated" by these greedy dirty Jews? Hagel looked like the buffoon he is when he could not answer the question.

There is no question that Israel is our friend. To put that word in quotes make you look even dumber and racist than Hagel.

If Israel is our friend than why were they caught spying on us several years ago. Nice way to treat your "friends". By the way, when does knocking a sovereign nation make you racist? Just because I don't believe in bending over and taking it from this country does not mean I am anti-semitic. If I had a beef with Italy, would I be considered anti-Catholic? I have nothing against the Jewish people, just the Israeli government. There is a difference, dummy. A large segment of the Israeli population isn't too thrilled with its neo-con leaders. I just think it is funny a draft dodger like Cheney has the nerve to call a decorated combat veteran like Hagel, "second class".

Mikey, just so ya know, that wasn't me, it was another of your many fans. Lots of folks respect you around here. And another thing, you should confirm stuff like you just did. Dumb. Just keep the scrum political, and stop stealing other peoples' work. You'll be fine.
