President Obama wants a $9 minimum wage, more spending on "stimulus", more on education, more spending in general which he says will not increase the deficit by "a dime".
Emboldened by reelection, Mr. Obama is proposing classic Democratic Party dogma as his policies for the year ahead and his second term.

Too bad he didn't come up with these ideas during the first two years of his term of idiocy, otherwise he could have enacted them.

“President rubs Republican noses in it”
“Most Americans — Democrats, Republicans, and Independents — understand that we can’t just cut our way to prosperity,” said President Obama. The President offered strong proposals to jump start the economy from increased energy production, to investment in infrastructure, and the building of efficiencies into entitlement programs that would cut costs but not benefits. John Boehner looked ready to ‘Cry a River’ over you Mr. President. The President took great delight in rubbing the Republican Party’s noses in it last night. The pleasure he took in doing so was a delight to behold as John Boehner, the House Majority Leader looked for an exit that he could get to during the whole speech, so uncomfortable with the Presidents ‘Centrist’ message to the nation’s voters that he began to slump in his chair, looking as though one of the crying jags he’s famous for was about to begin in full force.
President Obama. Offered strong proposals to jump start the economy, from increased energy production, to investment in infrastructure, and achieving greater economic efficiencies in entitlement programs that would cut costs but not benefits. He called for more investment in Research & Development, which he feels America needs to stay ahead of Countries around the globe. In his State of the Union speech The question now is does Eric Cantor and the ‘Tea Party’ understand that ‘Cuts’ won’t jump start the American economy, or are they going to take the whole Republican Party down, to their level of blind economic ignorance?
President Obama never wavered in his message during the campaign, or in his State of the Union message last night, he called out the Republican led ‘Do Nothing’ Congress, and told them in the plainest language possible, so even House Republican leadership could understand it, "No full-time worker in America should live in poverty" and offered a 9.00 an hour Federal ‘Minimum Wage’ to America’s workers. He offered a federal Pre K program to America’s Middle and Working Class Parents.
How it must have gnawed at these ‘Do Nothing’ Republicans to be reminded that while Corporations earned record profits, Americans have lost ground in their wages and personnel wealth. The President is not going to move towards the Right of Center to appease Conservatives, but instead he showed he had plenty of Corporate America backing for his ideas. He highlighted how businesses from Apple to Siemens are bringing jobs back to America. The CEO’s of America are now behind this President and it’s clear that Conservative Republicans better start dancing to the center, or be perceived as a worn out act to America’s voters.
Mike Flynn “Middle Class Mike’
Hey what about the Republicans response?
Watching Rubio fumbling for his water ba ba reminded me of Woody Allen fumbling for his cigarettes in front of the firing squad in Casino Royale.
Drinking water is not cool. Obama never drinks water. Smoking is cool and so is killing flies, that is why Obama does those things.
Cristie is fat. Nothing is a faster ticket to heart attack and cancer except for smoking and having a mother that died of cancer. Did I mention that Obama had a mother that died of cancer too?
While the Pres. came up with good ideas on saving some money what about 16 TRILLION dollars debt he got us into? That is more debt than the entire existence of the country from day one! He actually became George Bush for four years, while blaming him for four years! The only thing he did was to dump Obamacare on us. It is unaffordable, socialistic and reflects what is failing all over Europe. He wants the government to control everything we do.
This reminded me of Lyin Ryan when he lost the debate with VP Biden. He must have drunk a gallon of water in an hour.
Apparently, trying to fool the American people makes the TeaPubs very thirsty. I see an SNL skit coming out of this.
How sad to see that Rubio merely borrowed his talking points from the failed ideology that lost his party the election in the first place and had no constructive or original thoughts of his own.
Poor little Marco is not the “savior” the GOP thinks he is. He can only nervously gulp his water…..not walk on it.
16 TRILLION and growing!
Yeah pay for your wars so someone like President Obama doesn't have to clean up your finacial mess.
This time around, Mikey reprints from Obama's own verbage, talking about "proposals to jump start the economy" blah blah blah. He repeats the pablum throughout this latest plop.I thought I'd fill you in for the folks who see his posts and scan over them without reading them. How do you like the last four years of "jump starting?" Mike/Obama tells us we can't cut our way to prosperity. Somewhat true. But we haven't cut ANYTHING. How's bout we go for a $30 trillion dollar deficit before the Great Liar leaves office? That'll help the kids. And did you enjoy your last tax increase? More is coming. Aren't you glad you're rich? Excuse me, jump started.
