Gates Supervisor Makes Miner’s Case

Darn these people who know something...Financial analyst and Gates Town Supervisor Mark Assini has looked at pension contribution numbers and determined that Syracuse Mayor Stephanie Miner is not the heretic the Democratic establishment has labled her.
Mr. Assini says local governments should get smart and have their eyes wide open before buying into the 25 year rate lock at levels below what they are now but perhaps above what they will be after five or six years.
There are many other factors Mr Assini says should be considered.
Mayor Miner has been ostracized by Democrats for her temerity in challenging Governor Cuomo.....For not standing with the Governor is I think how it's phrased.
This is why I have asked our Council to be engage in following the debate as a decision of some consequence may be forthcoming.
The NY Conference of Mayors has endorsed the plan but that doesn't mean it's the best plan for everyone.
It is a plan that purports to borrow against future Tier Six savings. Whether that makes it a "gimmick" is certainly a question of semantics, and maybe a matter of fact.

Careful Mayor. Remember how the Dems tried to take you out two years back.

5:01 is right. There's safety in being like Mikey. Bending over and repeating what you are told has its advantages. You start asking questions like this an you might lose your liquor license, get audited, have a lotta bucks invested in your defeat next election time, who knows. This is the Empire State, and we know who is the head of the Empire. He even suspends state law when it fits his needs. Who says he won't twist a couple arms to go after you. Sometimes being a coward it the better way to go.

Dinapoli pointed out first.
The future tier six "savings" are like the future Obamcare savings. They don't exist and never will.

Look at Cuomo's reckless track record at HUD and you wouldn't be surprised by this reckless budget proposal.

Today's hilarious news, front page, reveals that the "savings" under ObambaCare might not be savings after all. It might cause big spikes in the cost of healthcare. Well duh. How is it we could expect it any other way? Here's what the Great Liar said. We're gonna give Free healthcare to tens of millions who don't have it and it will save money. Even Mikey, if you sobered him up and got him to wash his coat, wouldn't believe that BS. We told you so. Hahahahahahhaahahahaha. You're so stupid. But rest assured. Us government employees and Dannie types won't have to deal with ObamaCare and we will still get ours much cheaper than you will. And to me, that's all that matters. You dolts continue to vote Donkey. Go Mikey go.

Of course 25,000,000 more people having insurance under Obamacare is a matter of no importance to a drunk like you and your the dirtball.

At least 25,000,000 fewer people having insurance under Obamacare.

Before obamacare, our health care system was the most expensive in the world, did not cover every one and did not have very respectable outcome.

Mikey you just keep getting dumber and dumber every time you post a response. I understand you subscribe to Obama's tell a lie often enough methodology. But that only works when you are talking to voters that were going to vote democrat no matter what. Everyone with a brain can check your lies with Google.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- The number of people who lacked health insurance last year climbed to 49.9 million, up from 49 million in 2009, the Census Bureau said Tuesday.

You site info from 2009 and 2011, so try to get current.

The Most Reliable Source:
Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released its latest look at the Affordable Care Act – the health care law. This report affirms that repealing the health care law would deny tax credits for millions of middle class families and result in higher deficits and fewer Americans with insurance.
Once again, the Congressional Budget Office has found that repealing the health care law will increase the federal budget deficit by more than $100 billion in the first decade and more than a trillion dollars in the next decade. CBO also found that 30 million Americans would remain uninsured without the Affordable Care Act.
