Banning drones might seem a blow for civil liberties, but really, wouldn't the airborne snoops be handy in finding out who is living where...fenced in back yards would be seen and we could see what kind of "family" is living there....

You forget about the high flying unmanned blimps.
Yeah if the goverment goes through the Judges and gets a warrant to do so. Anybody really think that is gonna happen?
When the drones can tell what kind of smart phone I have at over 17000 feet I think that may be a privacy issue. At least thats the way I see it.
