Capitol Confidential » Cuomo would exempt Hollywood from gun law

You can't have those scary assault style weapons in the new NY, but if you are Hollywood glorifying them in violent movies filmed in NY...That's OK.
That's one of the changes being sought in the SAFE NY Act, as gun rights advocates prepare to move on the capital tomorrow.

Typical Liberal. More concerned about Hollywood jobs than NYS jobs lost in the firearm related businesses.

Oh let's not forget the money he hopes to raise for his public relation and presidential campaigns from Hollywood.

Jeff, I had that same thought as well. My starters pistol that I use for high school track and field events is now illegal (9 round magazine), but it is ok for Hollywood to make a movie in NYC with gangsters shooting people with tommy guns?

He made more then one error in that law, hope he knows. Must have been the fact that they passed the law in the night, kind of dark in the room.
