Time mobbed with criticism for Christie cover - NYPOST.com

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie should not be surprised when TIME magazine used a cover photo that makes him look like the stereotypical Italian mobster from the Garden State...Sort of like Tony Soprano.
The Governor has cultivated an in-your-face, tough guy persona that lends itself to those comparisons.

It matters not what the governor had cultivated. The goal of the Times was to reduce his popularity. They are too stupid to know that in today's culture, the Mafia is looked up to and so this cover does no harm.

What was the cover the month before the election? Oh yeah...Mrmons suck.

Do you think Christie cares about his picture? Hey! A conservative Republican who can think for himself! Give us 10,000 more please!

If guys like Boehner, Reed, McConnell, or Obama had his balls, this country would finally be moving forward. Give me Christie, Cuomo or Pelosi anytime!

Wait a second. He doesn't look like a mobster in that picture. They should have put a cigar smoke background on half the picture or something.
It just looks like a bad picture of him. Which is probably easier to take than a good picture of him.

But make no mistake, they definitely wanted to make him look bad because he has an R next to his name.

Some people like Christie and his "thuggish, harsh, sharp, nasty lingo, and in your face" persona ... others do not.

He is likeable in some respects ... he is not presidential material, however for many reasons.

" Give me Christie, Cuomo or Pelosi anytime!"

I was with you until you mentioned that Dingbat Pelosi. She's the one who said, "We must pass the bill before we get to see what's in it."

Perhaps we should vote for, and elect our Government representatives BEFORE we hear their stand on issues.

And those reasons are???

Why is Christie not presidential material?

Dannie is right. He's not quite the Liar our current resident of the White House is. For Dannie's party to nominate someone, they have to be dishonest to a point of criminality. But if Christie were a Donkey, I'll just a betcha ol' Dannie would flip flop in a second. Party above all else.

surprised as hell by Dans comment.Anyone else?

He is not presidential material because he does not like to give fre$tuff to Dannie types. He is the type that threatens Danny's pension that he pays no state taxes on...AKA Danny's "fair share" of zero.

9:16 -- there you go again ... one horse toon and out of step with reality at that.

Give it a rest and expand your horizons with some intelligent discourse.

Wasn't me, Dannie. That was another of your fan club. I agreed with you. Christie is not presidential material. He's not a Donkey and he doesn't lie enough. That's a standard I expect you to hold firm on. You have to be firm about something. I'm proud of you.

Sorry Danny I just can't help myself. I have a million tunes but they all have this steady beat backing them. The beat of your idiocy and your party's hypocrisy.

Doesn't matter if it is the "paying your fair share" is zero hypocrisy. It could be Jesse Jackson's hymietown comment hypocrisy. Or it could be Charles Rangel forgetting to pay his income taxes hypocrisy.

Or it could be you guys electing Nancy Pelosi as your leader after her telling us that unemployment is one of the best stimuluses for an economy, or that we have to "pass it to find out whats in it". While you tell us PALIN is stupid hypocrisy.

Do you have any idea how hypocritical you sound when you tell us how we should spend our states money but you pay no state income taxes on your pension? Or when you tell us the rich need to pay more? You live on the golf course in Watertown...you are rich...you need to pay more.

And half your comments are nipping at Grahams heels over made up crap. As if he wants teenagers to drink because it will make him more money at his bar...or as if he is calling some politician fat in the big county.
