Heart Your Senator

Senator Patty Ritchie is hoping for political cupids on February 8 with a Valentine's political fundraiser at the Black River Valley Club.
The Friday night soire tickets are $48, or $75 if you want to attend the cupid reception prior to the main event.
Invitation

The invite promises music, dancing and celebration, although is not more specific.
The staid and solid political class who go to fundraisers don't strike me as the type to attend a "bash", but who wouldn't want to be Patty's valentine ?

She had the nerve and the sense to stand up to Cuomo and his stooges on the gun bill. She deserves a lot of credit on that one.

Yah she deserves credit for voting no but really her reasons were wrong.. She got input from constituants remember... Which ones 86 percent wanted something done 12percent didnt.. She went with the twelve percent.. That is until Griffo gave his reasons for voting no.. They made sense so now there Pattys reasons also...
I talked briefly yesterday with retired Sheriff Jarvis and also McNeil retired from SLC politics. Neither gave Patty very high marks as a Senator..

Patty is my favorite democrat. But she cannot help herself, as she is a woman, and women lack the power to reason...for very long, before their logic is lost to emotion.

Although, I am sure she had her reason for Marks law. Guaranteed votes from firemen...and I use the term "men" loosely.

I am sure she had her reason for supporting two SUNY presidents. Guaranteed votes from RINO county, from all the people sucking at the SUNY teet.

I am sure she had her reason for voting for Jefferson county sales tax. Guaranteed candy to hand out to wealthy housing developers.

I am sure she had her reason for supporting Tug Hill commission. To endear herself with the well connected egotistical totalitarians who took over for SLEOC, in bullying the small municipalities into enacting overreaching zoning laws.

Well, Doheny seems like the "bash" type. Maybe he will bring Monica along to liven it up a bit.

I didn't like the SUNY vote or the tax or the SLEOCC votes. But on this, I will give her a lot of credit. She stood up to the media fed wave of ignorance to vote what reasonable people know to be true. The CT crime was a MENTAL HEALTH issue, not a magazine capacity or a ammo background check issue. 10:45, I'm not really sure what you are talking about. The high percentages you speak of of people who wanted "something done" changed dramatically in just a few days after the murder. What Gov Mussolini, excuse me, Gov Cuomo won't tell you is school violence is at an all time low. This was not about violence, this was about a little man with no integrity who wants to be King, after Obama is out. So we are left with the King of New York.

WEEEE HAVE TAH STOPP DUH VIOLENCE HEREE IN NEWWWYAAAAARK

Right you are 1132 but the other person is Addie and we dont want her.............

Addie is completely worthless. What was it, the North Country Department Store? That has to rank as the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. No good jobs, except for teachers. Taxes out the ass. Our kids have to leave. And Addie gives us the North Country Department Store and background checks on ammunition. I thought she was one of us. This nation is in serious trouble.

4:33- wouldn't it be the best f-you to the media and all the critics if Doheny started making out with a random chick in the middle of the party. The guy got slammed for living his life the way he wanted to live it and dragged through the mud for three years. Now he has the sweet freedom to do whatever he wants without a million eyes watching him or at least without anyone taking the time to write about it. You couldn't get me to run for office in a million years.

Hey 1109 AJR is NOT ONE of US....

You guys are correct. Addie is not one of you. She is part of the 88% of the population that makes up the rest of us.

As for the Jarvis ,Mcneil review if that is the case I would not worry too much about that. Jarvis hires his wife as secretary so they both get a nice retirement and Mcneil only ever worried about what was best for him. Patty did not support Wells vs Burns so hated. Mcneil has not rec'd any good stuff yet so he is a little discouraged. Ohh how many jobs has that river boondogle money created? what a joke.
