Breaking: Undersheriff Neff Expected To Retire, Source Says | WWNY TV 7

I'd like that undersheriff job. I have a clean record...have been fully briefed on workplace conduct issues...and wouldn't be at all upset about getting one of those suspended with pay deals. And if it didn't work out, I could get a teaching job at General Brown.

I know he should have made better choices. But he didn't. Doesn't make him a bad guy. He has always worked hard for the dept. That so called lady is nothing more then a crack whore. I hope this time they don't cut any deals and slam her away for 10 years.

I don't understand why he is not afforded the chance to seek help like any celb. in this country. We see it all the time. Seems like he could say he was addicted to sex and be allowed to see a doctor. Then he could go on doing the job he is real good at. We gave Linsey several chances to walk in NYC. Why not someone who deserves it?

Promote from within, right ... how's that gonna play out? Just asking.

“That so called lady is nothing more then a crack whore.”

So the “crack whore” deserves to go to prison for 10 years because of her addiction, but the “crack whore lover” deserves rehabilitation because of his. Sure that makes sense... what planet did you say you were from?

You better get your teaching job at JCC instead...they are mostly legal there.

Dannie, you have no idea of what went on in this case. There is nothing wrong with promoting from within.

THE CRACK WHORE has taken and taken and taken! Yes she deserves to go away for years. I don't back down on it. Andy is and was a giver. He just made a very bad choice. That (lady) has stolen from every place she worked and loves the crack. She has been given enough chances (by the police) and the places she took from. She is nothing but a taker!

This women should be in Jail for along time and not because of her crack adiction, but her criminal acts sie comitted and the lives and people she disturbed and hurted.

Bye the way, maybe to be confined will get her away from her addiction too.

So everybody is helped.

You live and die, by the "game" you play.

Soooo then, why is “Andy of Mayberry” sending photos of his “little fella” to the “crack whore?”

While inexcusable, her “criminal acts” are, as with most substance abusers, symptomatic of her addiction... you do know that don’t you; probably not? But I’m sure the Undersheriff, a person of power and authority, entrusted by the public, knew that when he made his sordid little move on a “known” criminal and drug abuser.

Do you suppose people were disturbed and hurt by his actions as well?

And what’s the pretext for Andy’s behavior? Oh yeah, he has a thing for crack whores… no big deal, blame it on the “crack whore.” Fact is, Mr. Neff, more than anyone, knew better as demonstrated by his decision to take an early retirement.

At least he had the good sense to do so; not all “addicts” have the same luxury…

Mr. Mayor

Would you please post my comment.

I have send two comments to answer @ 10:42 PM before, but have no idea what happenend to them, looks, like they vanished in blue air.

Thanks.

@10:46 PM:

I agree with your oppinion about Mr. Neff fully.
He should also face the consequences of his actions and not just get the easy way out.
Justice should be served, hopefully.

Anyway,
I stand with my oppinion about drug addicts. I have no sympathy for them.

With their addiction they destroying their children, families and neighborhoods.

Sometimes they are welfare dynasties and they have a whole bunch of children.
This poor children growing up in this surroundings have no good chance, with this kind of rolemodel and are sometimes even abused as drug carriers.
Sometimes, this kids are only born to stay on the welfare train. No child deserves that.

This drug addicts are able to destroy a whole neighborhood and street, thanks to Section 8. with drug traffic business, like selling stolen stuff and drugs and also breaking ins in their neighbors cars.

They trashing their own rental house, often having way more people living there, as allowed by Section 8, the street and the neighborsyards with garbage and drug tools and sometimes letting their dogs run wild.

The neigbhorhood goes way down and so does the property value, it hurts everybody, who lives close by.
Imagaing living with your family next to people like that.

I have lived in a neighborhood like this, a while ago, and know this all unfortunately out of first hand experience.

So no sympathy for people like her.

I only see it one way. The women in question has been in and out of the system her whole life. She cheats and she is a thief. She also doesn't always tell the truth. We know Andy sent her stupid pictures and text. But, did he ever tell her she could get clear of her crimes for sex? She told that one, not Andy. Andy is a well liked and upstanding person in our county. She is a person who would turn anyone in for a crime to walk.

RAT VS UNDER SHERIFF!

Who do you believe in this?

Ray, c'mon, reread your post..you believe he is an upstanding person in the county (doesn't really matter to me if he's well liked, as related to this), yet he sent her "stupid pictures and text", of himself mind you. That's pretty much been verified, right? What county do you live in, because I don't consider those traits of an upstanding person. Oh wait, he didn't know the criminal history of the girl like you outlined, right? Sometimes, Ray, people in positions of authority do things that they need to take responsibility for when they come to light, just like the common joes. Because they are elected, wearing a uniform, whatever, means they should hold themselves to a higher standard because they know they are in the public eye more, and knew it when they signed on. No one forced them to run for office, or tied them down and threw through on the uniform. Don't know anyone involved, but the names aren't really the focus anyways. Saying you see things only one way is kind of like burying your head in the sand.

Well Doesn't it seem odd he's retiring? Hopefully the State Police will get to the bottom of the mess and hopefully we'll re-focus on the basics of running a dept. Get rid of the toys....
