Superintendents say many school districts will be insolvent in 4 years - City & Region - The Buffalo News

So, if you know you are going to "run out of money in four years",  why not use some of that vision, leadership and superior education to do something.
Could be consolidations...could be something else....
The superintendents are the smart guys in the room, and if they aren't the money is there....Just raise taxes. A guy just got elected President by promising to do just that.

A guy got elected president by convincing morons that Romney was a vulture capitalist bent on ending abortions of any kind. Morons...AKA minorities and women.

When he raised taxes it was via Obamacare but he hid them and made them not take affect until after the election.

Superintendents do not have the authority to fix their budget problems. Consolidation makes costs go up not down.

Thanks for the advice but everyday I still buy and sell guys from the motor pool. Plus, you will find out soon enough that I have a secret bet with Mortimer Duke.

This plan will save lots of school budget bucks; No inter-mural sports, just intra-mural sports. That will eliminate all those yellow buses from driving thousands of miles for a few students to bounce a ball or whatever. With intra-mural sports they can still play and the scouts can still award athletic scholarships to those very few talented athletes.
