Obama’s Reaction to Connecticut Shooting Sets Stage for Gun Debate - NYTimes.com

The bodies are still in the classroom and we didn't know all the details..in fact some details were misreported, but the calls came quickly from New York's soda-hating mayor for gun control.
The President's remarks contained a cautious call for a dialogue on the issue and Second Amendment fans quickly went on the offensive as well.

The wrenching audacity of this particular shooting leaving a classroom of dead kindergartners has more impact than other shootings we have endured. There will be calls for this and that, so get ready for the 'fiscal cliff' to give way to gun control....for at least a few days.

Has Bill Maher tweeted any jokes about this incident yet?

Bill Maher has no class at all so expect something offensive from his not funny brain.

No, but the mentally unstable right wing radio talk show host, Mike Hucksterbee made this moronic statement:
"We ask why there is violence in our schools, but we have systematically removed God from our schools," Huckabee said on Fox News. "Should we be so surprised that schools would become a place of carnage?"

"We don't have a crime problem, a gun problem or even a violence problem. What we have is a sin problem," Huckabee said on Fox News. "And since we've ordered God out of our schools, and communities, the military and public conversations, you know we really shouldn't act so surprised ... when all hell breaks loose."

Well that is moronic huckster statement. Like the one about the NRA being the new KKK.

All these type shootings are done by schizos that should have been institutionalized years before they did their deeds.

I agree, The prez set the stage. Those were really neat and timely tears. Let's do what doesn't work, add more laws that apply to the law abiding. That's always worked in the past.

The President should take some more acting classes. Not very convincing.

And by the way, never saw him sheating a tear for the late, end of six month apported Babies left to die.
This was the legislation he supported as State Senator of Illinois.
He also said , as far as I remember, that an unwanted child should not held his daughters back or be a problem.

This guy is a hypocrit.

One only has to look at, who cries wolf and uses this massaker for their own agenda , to see that it is not about the protection of children from Crazie Killers or to prevent crimes like that, but about taking away second amentment rights.

This massaker was right in time to focus the attention of the american people away from the fiscal cliff and issues like the dept, or the dawning war against Iran and the intervention in to Syria.

So sad.

I don't care if you are a hard death row dude waiting for the chair, the death of those kids brings tears to your eyes. Just as in the President's case.
