Fort Stewart opens gun sales on post but with limits troops E-6 and below

You can buy those Bushmasters at federal PX stores without sales tax...That's an event better deal than the private sector gun shops where Mrs. Lanza bought hers.
This post says Fort Drum also sells the assault rifles at the PX that so many libs want banned. Fact is the President had the power to ban them in the stores he oversees.
One point to remember....part of the proceeds from a gun purchase on a federal installation goes to support the morale, welfare and recreation of troops and their families. Kind of like Lottery tickets supporting education of the people who buy the tickets.
Let's see if the Biden study group looks at the government's own gun sales before it stages more photo raids on gun shops like the one in CT that sold to Mrs. Lanza.

Relax about the children mayor! Some would get the idea that you realy don't like kids.Is that the case?it seems that you always have to plug that in there same thing those darn kids are doing almost as if its a cry.Cry about something else, like the Jets being one of the worst teams in the NFL.Or your meal ticket losing again...how is ole Matt is he still on the Library Board? What a joke!I just hope that you made money from trying to hype him up, giveing him your inside knowledge on the inner workings of the House.I'm just happy the people saw right threw him.

The article was published in 2010 and your other one also in 2010 -- try a bit more up-to-date searches to see what falls out ...

ATTN LIBS:

"Assault" weapons have been banned for the last 60 or so years.

An "Assault Weapon" is a fully-automatic machine-gun type firearm.

Semi-automatic rifles are NOT "Assault Rifles."

Any questions?

No 251 if you saw the latest list from Feinstein a mini 14 is on it and the Bushmasters.

I like the fact that the Army considers the little guy more of a threat than the big guy. Witness the Kommander in Cheef. He's as honest as it gets.

All a bushmaster is is a semi-auto rifle the same as your deer rifle with a black paint job. Anyone who says any different doesn't know what they are talking about. same basic design, same function. And in the vast majority of cases, they are not "powerful" rifles. For the most part they are chamberd for the .223 cartridge. Which is a medium power woodchuck cartridge. The AK series of rifles are chambered for a weak version of our 30/30 cartridge. I expect that everyone who buys one at the PX has to undergo the FBI security check same as anywhere else in this country.

My point about the PX was the commander and chief has control of the PX, he would have the ability to stop the sales of them, that being said they go through the same checks and someone on the outside, and they have to be registered with the MP's on post before pick up.

10:25 Please don't confuse the dumbasses with facts. They are all aflutter because this is their time to go all aflutter, and aflutter is what they really wanna be. Do not try to educate them. They are upset, hormonal, with fluids dripping out of orifi they never knew existed. Go slow and be gentle. They really aren't interested in cutting crime or protecting children. They want feel good laws now and they wanna vibrate.

.223 is not a deer cartridge.

.223 is the same as the NATO 5.56 (military rounds for M-16/which BTW is the AR-15's brother... check it out).

Everyone knows that, Dannie. But we are impressed. And that was the point, wasn't it?
