Plattsburgh Mayor Donald Kasprzak wrote the NY Post to protest Mr. Matthew's rescent assertion that he was glad the Sandy Storm hit the East Coast because it provided a favorable political opportunity for President Obama, who still causes a pronounced tingle up Mr. Matthews leg.
Mayor Kasprzak says Mr. Matthews is the "perfect example of what's wrong with this country."

Mr Graham.. Is it the same sort of tingle you have enjoyed over the last few years for Matt Doheny.. You have made statements stretching the truth you have censored your blog for Matt and you have made it very known your excitemtn over him and what he represents.

We should want our side to get rid of the Akins but we should want their side to keep the Chris Matthews.
Chris Matthews career should be over. His remarks, even though he apologized were way off the charts! Today you can say anything, no matter how offensive and apologize or claim it was, "Taken out of context." He meant every word and should now be disgraced!

Chris Matthews is a political commentator with a point of view. He is not a self-avowed leader of a cause like Rush Limbaugh or Glen Beck. Matthews was commenting on a reason why President Obama won the election. Limbaugh, Beck and Fox News, with their fantasy worlds, are reasons, like Hurricane Sandy, why Republicans did not do well in the elections.
Matthews apologized on air and it was a heartfelt apology ... which most in the media world seldom, if ever give ...

His apology was sufficient ... the "outrage" is weak and fake.
The Mayor of Plattsburgh (like you) endorsed Doheny. He is just pissed and looking to change the story.

Ted Williams while serving in Korea flew as ace Chuck Yeager's (The Right Stuff!) wingman and Yeager thought him to be fearless. Tip hat TW.

Akins is a political figure, Matthews talks about politics, big difference. We have had to listen to Glen Beck and Rush for YEARS, and they said A LOT of dumb stuff, come on, give me a break. At least he apologized.
