Martinez criticizes Romney comments, points way forward for GOP - James Hohmann - POLITICO.com

Republicans seem more than happy to place their defeated nominee under the bus in a bid to expand the appeal of the GOP to groups that overwhelmingly voted for President Obama.  New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez is among those rapping Romney for his latest remarks about the President buying off the votes of his key constituencies with free stuff.
Republicans will need some fresh blood for 2016, and by the way so do the Dems who are talking about Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton as their early frontrunners for the nomination.

Mitt should have known better than to tell the truth. The truth does not win you any friends.

Criticize him or not, it is true! I have talked to so many people who voted for Obama so they can "keep the checks coming". The big difference with these people is that Romney supports sign their checks on the front. The Obama supporters sign their checks on the back.

Your talking about the same people who when asked to pay more, say o-no. Please just cut some loop-holes. Loop-holes don't pay the bills.

The first thing the Republican National committee needs to do is get rid of Grover Norquist and his influence on People down there.. His pledges have gotten old.. Most grown people know that the Norquist pledge is a disguise for no new taxes on rich corporate America...
I cannot for the world of me figure out why the average American cant see through this ploy and phony pledge..
For instance our Senator Ritchie has signed on for this pledge and wont sponsor her hom county for home rule and a sales tax hike for fear of losing tea party support. By not signing on Ms Ritchie has doomed the taxpayers of SLC a hike in their property tax and the laying off of several county workers. She cant crawl out from under the rock on this one.. She and she alone has caused this disaster in our County...

Pay no attention to the coincidental comments of the 8:12am twins… they are clearly Democratic operatives trying to make Republicans look bad by making these obvious foolish and ignorant comments…

But, then again… maybe not.
