Gas rationing begins in NYC, Long Island

President Obama is off to SE Asia this week, so you can understand why he won't be going back to Metro NYC to hug Governor Christie and oversea his Administration's response to Sandy.
It would be nice to visit a gas station in Queens to see how odd-even rationing works, or a house on Staten Island to see how people without electricity live.
America planted tomatoes and it will get tomatoes.
Have a safe trip, Mr. President.

Well that didn't take long at all.

As much as I hate the ideologies and polices of our Muslim foreigner prezident, this should not be on him anymore than it was on Bush for Katrina.

I don't recall the president getting us out of our icestorm problems. This was not America but the states of NY and NJ that planted tulips and got two lips.

Price gouging laws keep the supply and demand from discovering the right price to encourage the market to ration the commodity. but it was the guy that wears sox with his whores that decided to extend price gouging out of the area. So there was no extra gasoline for miles around, even if they went hundreds of miles to where the storm did not hit, to find supply.

And don't forget about the special mix of fuel they need for those sensitive environments there. It took three days just to waive that requirement.
