Gallup: 2012 election had the largest gender gap in recorded history - The Hill's Blog Briefing Room

The "war on women" worked. Polling shows President Obama won female voters by 12 points while losing men by eight points. The 20 point disparity was the largest ever recorded.
Women's reproductive issues, 'women in binders', crazy statements by a couple GOP Senate candidates all played a part. More important for the President, these issues helped mask economic issues the GOP candidate was running on.

in Argument Over Contraception

Republican efforts to counter the argument ran in the face of a public either pro choice or at least not wanting to vote for people on a mission to repeal Roe v Wade or dismantle Planned Parenthood.

Women and blacks disproportionately make irresponsible economic decisions... who knew?
Access-to...equals...free (with no copay).

I can't believe that some women are that stupid.

"I can't believe that some women are that stupid."

I know what you mean... it's hard to imagine any woman would be dumb enough to vote for a Republican.

The "war" on women worked for one reason: it was real, it unsulted women and their ability to manage and decide their own health care needs, and it was disgraceful and disrespectful to all women and they let the GOP know.

Will the GOP learn from that? Doubtful ... just read the posts here and elsewhere and listen to the HOT LINE and CURRY ...

Old dawgs seldom learn new tricks - and I always thought elephants had better memories than that? (smile)

Gee I wonder why?? Legitimate rape, a gift from God.

Intelligent women realize that there is no such thing as "war on women". Total foolishness.

On behalf of Democrats and Progressives everywhere I would like to extend a personal thank you to all the TeaPub’s who have actively engaged in the “war on women” all the while denying it exists.

As well, I would be remiss without a special shout out to the far right and the religious fundamentalist nut jobs and their pro-rape and forced birth agenda.

Thanks’ guys, keep up the good work… we couldn’t do it without you.

Danny you are going off message. It's called "access to" not "ability to manage and decide their own health care needs".

Whatever you do, don't call it mandated free no copay birth control pills or tax payer funded abortions.

Our Muslim president could tell you about real rape. Its when you have 4 witnesses.
