What's interesting is whether the General will be excused from testifying on the Benghazi incident. His agency was thrown under the bus by an Administration trying to win an election.

Three days after the election, and just before being called to testify in the Benghazi mess,he is allowed to resign, and avoid it all cause he is ostensibly being thrown under the bus..yeah right. If this happened under the Republicans, the screaming would be heard to high heaven. What did he know and would have testified to under oath?Instead,he is allowed to ride off into the sunset, with one or two retirements, probably a cash buyout settlement, and a light slap on the hand for his "indiscretion"..Where are journalists that take their job seriously these days?!Jeff you have many times used the term "smell test" to describe bs goings on in government.Does this pass your smell test,as a journalist?
I would wager that this story goes a lot deeper than his self-admitted affair (no pun intended) ... stay tuned and then see.
"Journalist" there you go more tongue and cheek, right?
