More Bulls--- A'int Gonna Pull This One Out of the Fire

I stopped at the Doheny fundraising soire hosted by Tom and Mabel Walker....Nice affair, nice people, and when I was talking candidly with some of the people they agreed with me on my view of the Congressional race....
The inner circle theory is (as best I can surmise)  that the registration advantage (considerable), being on three lines (a plus), no Hoffman (good thing) and the constant utterance of "ObamaCare" and "Pelosi" is the recipe for a 49-47-4 win in a three way race....Now, no one told me that...That's just what I surmised.
Mixed in is the use of cookie cutter , BS (I can't spell it out as the WDT may link) commercials that look like every other CD in the nation....
There's a lot of musing about the helicopters over Caprice Island and the class warfare stuff...Team Doheny thinks they won last nights debate in East Jesus, NY, but nobody is watching....The challenge is to deliver in a 30 second spot....It's hard to make sense when you have bought into the nonsensical national nonsense of $716 Billion being robbed from Medicare.
Obamacare is a mixed bag and too hard to explain. Going broke is an easier concept....Might want to try that one, as nobody believes the national noise.
Of course, I am cynical and jaded...But so far the polls bear me out...The public is willing to vote for fiscal insanity because the candidate preaching it is either a rock star or at least charmingly avuncular.
Time to stare down those choppers overhead and give an apathetic and disinterested public a bit of truth and awe.

Wow, you are surmising a 15 point swing over Siena? That's pretty bold. It's hard to argue about the registration advantage and the three line dominance, but I STRONGLY believe the Pelosi and Obamacare nonsense Doheny keeps uttering is just that, nonsense. I actually think it is working against Doheny. People want to know his positions, not his stale insults against Owens.

From what I have read, the debate was a non-event with no true winner. I am not surprised Doheny thinks he won. He has seemed a bit delusional throughout this whole process.

The public has had a glipse of the truth and awe about Doheny - that's why Owens will win on election day.

Im very surprised the Walkers would support a candidate that you do. If I remember right you were not all the best of friends at one point.

I think you might have got the numbers right, but 2 points is a razor thin margin and can the granola eaters really be at 4%

"The public is willing to vote for fiscal insanity because the candidate preaching it is a rock star or at least charmingly avuncular"

No truer words have ever been spoken, Mr. Mayor.

Yes, truth and awe would be good. Let's start with Doheny using unrelated "talking points" to answer the question regarding the loss of our Ambassador.

Rudeness, arrogance, and trying to be "Sarah Palin cute" in avoiding questions aren't going to get you the job, buddy.

Hard to get truth from a candidate who refuses to talk with the media. Doheny blowing off Amarel and Jude refusing to make him available for comments. On November 7th Doheny will figure out we are way smarter than that/.

10:00 - I totally agree. Doheny is so evasive. There is no time for political games and Doheny has to step up to the plate or step aside. The guy says NOTHING (except for his attacks on Owens, many of which have been proven by independent fact checkers to be inaccurate).
