Did anyone really, actually believe that further government meddling in free enterprise WASN'T going to cost us more money in the long run? "People get the government they deserve"
How does losing "free" checking cost more money in the long run? The money that was paying for the "free checking" is staying in the consumers pockets instead of going into the bankers pockets, with a token amount given back for "free" checking.
