Romney-Ryan Ticket Now the Chatter

The chattering class is rallying round Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan as the preferred choice for Mitt Romney's running mate.
At least that was the consensus of the talking heads on Morning Joe on MSNBC, a network that can't wait to portray the GOP ticket as wanting to take away Medicare.
Mr. Ryan's name does seem to be rising in the speculation. The rationale is that Mr. Ryan's position as the articulator of Republican budget policy would give voters a clearer choice.

I hope not. Ryan is too valuble to waste as a VP. However, if that's what it takes to get rid of that thing currently sitting in the Oval Office, I suppose it would be a good choice.

Perhaps a clearer choice about losing Medicare to his voucher plan - then hope the money holds out when you have a huge medical emergency, otherwise, fork it over yourself.

That kind of clarity?

Or State block grants for Medicaid? What if an economic mess strikes like 2008, then what? Just ignore the sick and ill who need and rely on it.

That kind of clarity?

Show me the argument claiming Ryan will help him win in the three states in play.

I understand that the many in the GOP thinks Paul Ryan will generate more enthusiasm in the conservative base of the party. Apparently, Mitt Romney is not a favorite of conservatives and many would stay home in November if someone like the moderate Rob Portman were the VP nominee.

Hope it is not Chris Christie. This is not a personal attack. Chris christie is morbidly obese and simply not a good role model for health and cannot talk legitimately regarding any issue of self control or health care. It does not matter how smart you are - if you don't act smart with respect to living a decent life. Most good leaders are smart, measured communicators and live a life of moderation with respect to personal habits. For once, I hope we get the "total package" from our leadership. Intelligence, Wisdom, Courage, Integrity, Honor, Example and a real track record of Successes. We should want leaders that are role models in every regard. Better-than-average is one of the aspects of being a leader.

No way is that a winning ticket. Da peeple, you know, da ones with 4G phones and butt stamps, want to continue borrowing and living off FreeStuff. There is no way in hell they will vote for a ticket that tells them changes have to be made. They like the lies the First Semi Black President is telling them. They're much cooler than the truth the bad people are telling them.

You would think from everything you read and hear that being fat would be the most likely kiss of death for untimely young death. But all of the people I know of personally that died young were skinny rails that couldn't keep from smoking. Like Obama is. Plus Obama did cocaine and pot.

Don't worry, Dannie. The only kind of clarity that will matter to you is while the rest of us go broke, all your benefits will remain Free and untouched and untaxed. Because of your motor pool sacrifices and the swing set calamity suffered by your loved ones, we have always stood ready to pay for all your needs. The nation, heading towards bandruptcy due to giving FreeStuff away to people like you, will always be deeply grateful.
