Why are libertarians such divisive, derisive partisans? Ryan is infinitely closer to being a libertarian than Obama is and that is all that should matter. Trying to discredit him by using the word Koch is foolish self spite.

Paul Ryan reminds me of what Harry S. Truman once said about Richard Nixon…”He’s one of the few in the history of this country to run for high office talking out of both sides of his mouth and at the same time lying out of both sides.”

When further asked if he thought Nixon talked too long in his speeches, Mr. Truman replied “Any talk at all from him is too damn long.”

Pretty much spells out my thoughts on VP candidate Paul “Lyin” Ryan.

Excellent article a hint of anti-Ryan bias but, accurate. If I have to pick between Koch Brothers or George Soros to run the country, I'll pick the Koch Brothers.

Wher does Doheny fit in with Romney, Ryan, the Koch Bros. etc.?

I wonder if they know how smart he is? I told my wife that he could name all the viaages, towns and cities fron memory, and she said: "Why would he want to do that?"

That was a good question. Is it because he can't think of any other way to show us how he would represent us.

My thought is: If he is so smart, maybe he can find the 401K money we all lost in September 2008 when he and his hedge fund buddies sold us short, while making millions.

Ryan is a career pol, getting a gov't paycheck as long as your punching bag D Francis did. But he lies- he claims he did not ask for stimulus money. That Texas gov Perry did the same thing to get votes.

re 11:54, "Why are libertarians such devisive, derisive partisans?"

Ah, it's 'talk about things you know nothing about' time.

If by "devisive" you mean offering solutions, options, philosophies, etc, outside the prison-box constructed by Team A & Team B - then Guilty as charged.

If by "derisive" you mean laughing at the very idea that Americans are being offered a genuine choice whenever Team A & Team B put on their WWF-style wrestling match for world champion - then Guilty as charged.

Paul Ryan is as phoney as they come. He has voted for big gov't consistently, TARP, the NDAA, the PATRIOT Act, funds for the wars, Bush's prescription drug plan, etc.

To link the words "Ryan" & "Libertarian" is a joke - on you.

As for myself, I refuse to vote for either of these tickets.

Good for you bob...stamp your feet and go home from the voting booth.
Everyone else will chose between R and D
The R's R a lot better.
