In a society where everyone is expected to comment on everything, the two Presidential candidates are staying quiet on the Chick-fil-A story which is the culture war issue of the week.
Neither candidate wants to get in the middle of the gay marriage issue, even though the base in each party see this as a great flash point.

The republicans see it for what it is. A chance for the democrats to be hypocrites and have one set of standards for conservatives and a different set for their base of blacks, Hispanics and their POTUS.
I am really at a turning point in this election. I'm starting to root for Obumba. I have a government job, thus I'm pretty well insulated from the damage that has taken place and will take place if he is re-elected. I'm like Dannie, safe either way. And those people who were stupid enough to vote for Obumba the first time around need to enjoy the fruits of their choice. They need to think about their willingness to hope and change, with no evidence or experience on the thug's part. Those who value freedoms, screw them. They didn't take it seriously. So they should lose. Young people, who believe in BS about about wind and green and love and Martians etc, they will pay the bill for all this when they are making tacos for the next thirty years. Screw them too. Nope, I think its time to re-elect the Great and Anointed One. Let the media explain how these deficits are not really there and how freedoms are not really gone. I'll take my chances. But you, Mr and Mrs Amerika, deserve exactly what you are getting. And thanks again for my government job, provided for by the stupidity of you and your kids. You sure have cute kids.
Your welcome 12:11pm, it's nice to see you are finally waking up and voting for the better of the two men. But then, that’s a no brainer.
Voting for Owens is a no brainer...but if you have a brain you are going to want to vote for someone that didn't vote for nancycare.
You be welcome, 5:41. I'm a few weeks away from telling you and your kids where to mail the checks. Life is good. Thanks again. Tell your kids to hurry up with them burritos. And be sure to keep paying your fair share.
