WDT: New Districts Will Require More Tire Changes than a NASCAR Race

That 20 year age difference may be a help for Matt Doheny is what will be a grueling battle of geography as he and Rep. Bill Owens travel back and forth across the sprawling 21st CD. The matter is made more challenging with three key counties added to the district where both candidates have to become known.
Expect the pair to concentrate on Washington, Saratoga and Warren Counties.
When trying to overcome the spin shopped by your opponents there is no subsitute for having voters see you. That's a strategy being used by Mr. Doheny and it's not surprising as that was advice he gave me last year. The only difference, 12 square miles vs a land mass larger than some states.

I would hate to have to guess how to paint myself to those people that live in counties that close to NYC. I guess be seen but don't talk about the issues. Then follow it up with some negative campaigning.

I bet my superpac idea for Hassig would play well to a lot of those communists in that area of the state. Especially if it made an issue of Owens' support of fracking. I would not misunderestimate how dumb librul voters are if it was my campaign. This race is going to be about a couple points.

Matt needs Glenn to put him into a slick video on Youtube right now. Maybe several. Get the buzz going in the streets and promise change. Yup he should run the same old same old and he's in.

about as dumb as rural undereducated Republicans have demonstrated themselves to be...

That is pretty sick: making age an issue... shame on you.

I would wage that I am in better shape then either Dohney or Owens and could outlast either one of them in workout routines ... or in arm wrestling ... so what's the point? This race is about ideas and what lies (a pun intended) ahead for the country - not age or physical appearance.

Again, shame on you.

Does Bill Owens own an iron for that shirt?

Absolutely 10:43...that's why they split the vote with Hoffman last time instead of getting on board with the guy that won the primary. But you got them beat on quantity.

I want some of that wager action Danny. No way you are in as good a shape as Doheny. Especially mentally.
Look at that square jaw in his picture. Look at the energy that guy has running all over the district. I guarantee the guy gets up before you do and goes to bed after you do.

We don't consider ourselves as being close to NYC. We were the most conservative section of our old district and we are the most conservative section of the new district. I think of your area as being communist, giving us a leftist candidate like Doheny and trying to pass him off as conservative.

Hello? Look at a photo of the two side by side. My bet is Owens is in way better physical shape than Dosweeney. And if that's what will determine the race - congratulations Bill!

We do.

We were the most conservative section of our old district...
Wow! That's really saying something. Like being the most conservative politician from St Lawrence county. You guys would make Jeffords look like Goldwater.

Did you think you wer being subtle w/the age thing Jeff? Danny was spot on!

It was subtle.
Cleverly subtle.

I have no idea who Jeffords is, but Goldwater is a hero around here and any area that kept a RINO like Mchugh in office for so long is not conservative. Our long term congressman was Gerald Solomon , the man who submitted the impeachment charges against Bill Jefferson Blythe Clinton
