Huma Abedin is usually in the news for being married to defrocked Congressman Anthony Weiner, but now the longtime aide to Hillary Clinton is in the middle of a political firestorm after a group of Members of Congress suggested her family has ties to the "Muslin Brotherhood".
Rep. Michele Bachmann is the best known of the members who penned a letter demanding a probe of Muslim connections deep within the Obama Administration.
Several Republicans, including Sen. John McCain and Speaker John Boehner have criticised the claims.
Muslims have become the new "Reds under the bed" for a new generation of people who may not be thinking before they talk.

So because she is a member of the good ol girls club,she is above security concerns as she knows everything the former first lady does?Just asking,are these connections real or not?
I like her and her boss Hillary too. Mostly because they both let their husbands date on the side. My former wife would not let me date, and it really took a lot of the excitement out of company Christmas parties, clam bakes and the occasional "fling for no reason" at work.
It is true that Muslim extremists are the new Red under the bed. Just as we started turning a blind eye to communists and saying it is a fine choice for anyone, we now turn a blind eye to Muslim extremists and let them shoot up military basses. Hell then we call them work place violence incidences. Mayor I am so proud of you for your diversity and getting on the trend early.
But if you really want to get on board with the left even further you should call them "conservative Muslims" instead of Muslim extremists. That way you get to imply something bad about conservatives in our country.
Stuff like this makes me ashamed to live in the same place as you idiots. Rarely agree with McCain - and even cry baby Boehner says Bachman and her fellow cronies are way off base here. Has anyone seen Bachman's birth certificate?
Bachmann needs to be censored along with her 4 letter signers and then booted from the House.
