While Andy has played down his likely Presidential ambitions, his dad broached the issue during a visit to the Executive Mansion in Albany.
Governor Cuomo is obviously harboring White House plans,but has wisely stayed off the national stage, instead building a record as a Governor who has accomplished things.
That's a sound strategy Mr. Cuomo should continue at least through his reelection in 2014.

His self promotion voice-over for the I love NY Empire state of mind commercials, make him out like he can actually speak seminormally.
I wonder how many times they had to do a take on those commercial to make him not sound like a Sopranos character...too much.
Why can't he just be the best Gov. of NY that we ever had? Why not pull that one off first and then talk about more?
Yeah, but at least he’s smart enough to know that N. Korea isn’t one of our allies... and he doesn’t have to write on his hand like a third grader.

The nation is not stupid enough, yet, to elect a NY politician to a national office. All an opponent would have to do is point to the Empire State, with its corruption, failed and wasteful schools, job losses, crime. The soundtrack could be one long laugh.
8:09 do not misunderestimate how stupid the nation is. They elected Obama. No Joke. Try imagining his resume and listing his stated views on the issues. If is full of ultra left wing ideas, extremism and glaringly absent of accomplishment.
The thing is that Cuomo 2.0 does not have a good speaking voice or a swagger like Jagger. He got no chance of being a national star unless they remake Sopranos series and cast him.
