Can Johnson Make a Difference ?

With a malaise still surrounding certain GOP nominee Mitt Romney, its possible a former Republican governor of New Mexico running as a Libertarian could be a factor in the fall race.
Gary Johnson likely takes the Land of Enchantment off the table for Romney as his tenure as New Mexico'a governor will make him a draw in the SW..  Disenchanted Ron Paul voters are less likely to embrace Mr. Romney, whose straight laced demeanor offers little appeal to those wanting less government moralizing and regulating.
Mr. Johnson will be on the ballot in all states.

I think Romney should pick Mayor Graham for V.P. He's smarter than Palin, thinner than Christie, more outgoing than Daniels, better known than that other guy in the midwest, and more "hip" than Palente.

Best of all, he has the ONE QUALITY the Repulicans are always looking for: He'd be great to have a beer with.

This malaise you talk about must be something that can be statistically measured. Could you please point to the statistics that indicate the malaise surrounding Romney exists? Maybe you could really make your point by contrasting it to how fellow democrats are treating Obama...just to put it in perspective for us.

Ouchie 4:11!!! A little tender about malaising Romney. It's OK, He'll find somebody to run with him. I think he's a great guy.

I know our neighbors in Mass. are still thanking him for Romneycare. The sad thing for him is he designed a great healthcare plan and can't (or won't) take credit for it.

Please explain THAT to me.

The malaise you dutifully report on is a fabrication of the mainstream media. They have a vested interest in portraying Romney as a bland candidate. They would have done the same to anyone opposing our First Semi Black President who has given us such a Great and Wonderful Future.

Fact #1 we are blue state, done decided Obama wins NY (just like CA)

Fact #2 only Reason Obama or Romney will be stopping in NYS is to pick up more campaign cash.

Fact #3 the electoral college makes any vote you make Romney ineffective.

With the above facts in mind a vote for Gary Johnson will not effect the winners out come of the NY state vote or the election.

What a vote for Johnson will do it is send a message to both national parties that many of us have had it with their antics. Can he win? no but this may well launch a real real 3rd party run in 2016.

Nothing tender here 9:11. I am tough as nails and just ate some for breakfast.

I am just calling out the mayor for repeating the missinformationuntrueness. Romney has no more malaise surrounding him than any other candidate does, did, will, or had.

Will the third party have a slogan like: "No Billionaire left behind"? If so, could me in, and I'll bring Doheny and Richie with me.

“First Semi Black President…”

Please, since these are your words… do tell us how that differs from the First Semi White President? Or for that matter, why do you feel the need to point it out? (note the emphasis on capital letters)

1:35 apparently never noticed Obama is black or half black but characterized as black.
And never noticed that all opposition is characterized as racists.
And never noticed Obama says things only half blacks can get away with
like if I had a dog it would look like the one Obama ate.
or those cops were stupid in this teachable moment.

Yup...never noticed he was black
never noticed it influences the stupid things he says and does
and never noticed it influences how his stupid defenders argue.

1:03am, what does the Presidents race have to do with the price of tea in China? Maybe you should be more concerned about being “semi uninformed” or if you prefer “predominately ignorant.”

Mitt Romney is the most ridiculous candidate for President ever offered by a major political party in my lifetime. Except for his looks, everything else about him is just wrong for public office. Filthy rich, cash hidden off shore, a history of dubious business deals, being Mormon, a faith considered to be a cult by most Americans, gaff prone, humor impaired, flip-flopper extraordinaire, prone to lying. He's a freakin mess!

The use of the term “First Semi Black President” that 1:03AM dutifully points out is a creation and preoccupation of the right wing media.

They have a vested interest in portraying PRESIDENT OBAMA as somehow being undeserving of the Presidency.

Apparently, the use of the term “First Semi White President”, or better yet… “The President”, is strictly forbidden among their craven devotees.

Mormonism is a cult says the guy that voted for a Muslim Kenyan that pals around with terrorist. Voted for a guy that never had a job other than community organizer and faculty lounge professor...winning elections using lawyers to defeat his opponents instead of getting the most votes.

Hmm… the first time I heard Mormonism was a “cult” was from a right wing "Christian Conservative." But then, they are a hate filled intolerant bunch.

The first time I heard Obama was born in Kenya was from a left wing POTUS primary participant. But then, they are a hate filled intolerant bunch.
