Here's the scandal...one level of government suing another level of government to get $500K of our money and paying an out of town lawyer $250K to make it happen.
Jefferson County has disputed Medicaid reimbursement from the State and an attorney who "understands the process" was brought in to be the rain maker. A Google search shows she has been involved in numerous Medicaid disputes around the state, so I guess she does know the process and is the go-to person on these cases.
She made it rain, for herself. Local officials say the state may pick up her tab as well. As if the State is not funded by tax dollars as well.

I get settlement offers and see I can will get like .39 if I sign. I know law firm is getting millions and eating up the funds that should go to me. Same in bankruptcy cases I was owed $580 in security deposit I got $39 but for 3 years the attorneys billed $250 hr and got almost a million in fees. Over 80% of the money to these fees. The system is rigged, I call full employment act for attorney's
Sorry folk. But again, you are getting the type of government you deserve. You are so concerned with FreeStuff you don't even notice when government gives your stuff away to other governent agencies. And you can bet they didn't get this woman's phone number from the yellow pages. She did her time just like Owens does. How do you think she got this gig?

Dumb comparison, 11:22. This party is much closer to home. And it is much more OUR responsibility. This is why NY is the tops when it comes to lost jobs and dead end futures for our kids. Can't blame this on the feds. This is NY Democrats. We are a one party state.
