Republicans and their media friends at FOX are carrying on about the practice of aborting children based on what sex baby the mother wants to have. In a ginned up vote on a law to ban the practice, lawmakers were forced to say yes or no on a bill that would never become law, but would force Democrats into casting a vote that makes them look like they support this "barbaric practice."
All of this comes after an anti abortion group taped interviews with Planned Parenthood counselors in which patients were told the reason for their abortion was their own.
The bill was designed to create a wedge issue, something common is DC. The Party of Lincoln should be talking about deficits, taxes and anti business regulations, not abortion and the sanctity of what they view as marriage.
As for UNYTEA ? Sounds like they are press release wing when statements are needed but candidates don't want direct involvement.

They have to talk about it because Obama made the war on women an issue. So now Owens is on record of supporting the right to kill women before they are born.
And there are a lot of people who the MSN refers to as moderates, but are really staunch pro-choice wackos. These people would vote against Jesus Christ if they thought he would restrict abortion in any way whatsoever.
And then there are true reasonable liberals that think abortion for sex selection is over the top. The GOP has to go after some of these reasonable liberals in order to win in our freeStuff society, and issues like this are the way to do it.
Using abortion as a sex selection tool is something only a Pelosi could dream up. And our boy Owens supported it because he has to. Nancy gave him a three minute break so he could vote accordingly. Now its back to the task, Mr Owens. Yes, you can have a drink but don't dally. Himmler would be proud of what this country has become.
Settle down - this is NOT an issue in the U.S. and never has been ... those who think so, probably also look for zebras in the forest - they ain't there!!!

It actually shows how weak some candidates and/or parties are, doesn't it (they can't solve real pressing problems so they cling to crappy ones).
It is an issue because it shows how radical you guys are Danny. You won't put any restrictions on abortions no matter what. Even if it is the 29th day of the 9th month it is just a clump of cells right? And you want everyone to pay for it. Well half the people think it is forcing them to pay to murder babies.
Why not do what some animals do when they have too many or one is a bit off - the kill it or even eat it. Now that is disgusting and should never happen. Our way is much easier. Just suck them out of their Mommy with a tube like the Rotor Rooter guy. If you want to selectively abort your baby because of the gender you are lower than the animals. Also please pay for that murder yourself!
2:52 and 3:37 (may be the same poster): You are sick. There are plenty of restrictions on abortions that is if you are paying attention. It's still a matter of the women's choice.
Assume a team of GOP reputable Ob-Gyn doctors recommend an abortion for the sake of the mother's life and she says, "No." Isn't that what choice is all about, too?
