Fresh Face for Possible Vacant County Seat ?

A rebel GOP lawmaker who fought a sweetheart PILOT deal in the Town of LeRay may be in the hunt for a County Legislature seat soon to be vacated by the likely move of lawmaker Steve Harter from District 5.
It will be an insider choice by appointment as it is too late to get the race on this year's ballot.

Town Council Member Jennifer Dindl-Neff says she is happy where she is but her spunky fight against the PILOT in favor of a better deal for town residents may elevate her over other choices preferred by party bosses.
Dindl-Neff also works for Senator Patty Ritchie.
At age 30, she would be a fresh face on the board. She was also recently featured on the cover of NNY Business.

A GOP girl that advocates for big taxes on a proposed energy plant for Drum? What does she want the taxes for? Free horse vaccines?

Where's Steve moving to?

Florida, which I wonder why he was chosen in the first place, unless it was part of the master plan.

Someone forgot to mention that this "rebel GOP lawmaker" only works part time for Senator Ritchie, works full time as a small business owner of a residential appraisal company. Mother of two and Director of competitive cheer dance team PLUS COUNTLESS hours of community service!!!!

Don't be afraid of change, of new blood!!!! This town needs new thinking, more action and less blah blah blah!!!!

10:37 DINDL- maiden name, NEFF- husband's name.. Husband is a cop so I am sure she does not want to hear about every DWI, speeding ticket or domestic her husband has been to OR better yet every stupid law suit the Sheriff Dept has going on. Maybe she will run for Sheriff?

She has skeleton's in her closet.

Why would you want someone like dindle in county when she says nice and easy should put the back of there building on rt 11 and the front and pumps face away costing nice and easy to spend thousands of dallors for something not even nessesary. What needs to be done in leray is Rt11 speed be reduced to 35 so there are less accidents on that rt. She needs to focus on getting business's to build in the town rather than telling them how to build shes only an appraiser not an architech.

Im confushed why we even have a board of whatever it is. The board of supervisors was done away with under some pretense, and then found out, I think If I remember, that such boards were legal. Hard for one person to represent three or more towns. And what do they really do or accomplish ? Not trying to be mean and rotten, but most things could be done by a department head who makes the recomendations anyway... oh, well, just another way to spend money...

Clear conflict of interest. Shge would be a legislater and her husband is the undersherrif...if burs retires she would supervise her husband as sherrif..everybody WAKE UP

Its nice to see others aware of the clear conflicts of interests. Its not suprising that the Mayor "missed" that, and its too bad that our Senator doesn't get it either.
