After a 20 year courtship the daughter of former VP Dick Cheney has married gal pal Heather Poe. The ceremony happened in DC where same sex marriage is legal, even though the couple lives in VA where the "defense of marriage" is still strong.
While the former Veep is a conservative icon, he has since leaving office taken issue with the normal dogma from the right on SSM.
It's not known if Mr. Cheney directly participated in the ceremony, although with his new heart, that's a possibility.

Ruh roh Shaggy, just like Palin is the wrong kind of woman, Marry is the wrong kind of homo. She is a conservative, so the libruls heads are going to explode not knowing if they should support her or hate her.
While you could argue that dogma by definition must be from the right, the fact is that a significant part of the resistance to gay marriage comes from the middle and left too. The right is not big enough by themselves to get their own way for so long.
Also, it is not dogma when the issue has been explored so exhaustively. Many people favor civil unions for gays which dogma would not allow for.
It is actually the totalitarian left who could be described as right wing, when they rely on the courts to usurp democracy to enact gay marriage...as most of the gay marriage was legalized by activist courts not by representatives of the people.
The libs know what to do. They will hate her. As you say, 8:51, she's the wrong kind of vagina. They hate all that disagree with them. Just ask Dannie.
