I had to make a shopping trip today so I had time in the car to ponder just what questions I will ask the two GOP Congressional candidates when they are on the HOTLINE this month.
I feel an obligation to be probing and a little prickly as there are no MSM long form interviews on TV or radio during the campaign.
Now, I don't want to play "gotcha" or be insulting, but I am a believer that Congress is high office and a candidate cannot expect a free pass you would give a novice candidate for town council.
These folks need to have their views challenged and the measure of their quality is how they deal with tough questions.
Surely their handlers can anticipate the obvious and will have appropriate canned answers.
But for the record, I agree to no "ground rules" and do not submit questions to anyone.
Back in my younger days as a reporter, some pols thought I was kind of a dick. Maybe I should try to relive my youth.
By the way, when did you stop beating your puppy ?

to get elected and reelected it is an important skill to be able to think fast on your feet to answer these questions. But to be good at the job itself would entail having time to think about your answers carefully before giving them. Unless of course you have to vote for it to find out what is in it. But of course anyone that has the people's best interest at heart would automatically vote against something if you had to vote for it to find out whats in it.
I see Greene finally released her financial statement that says she has up to a half million in student loans and maxed out 20k in credit card debt on two cards. She also quit two doctorate programs before she started her third. She could pall around with Fluke the 30 year old law student that wants free birth control.
She should be running as a democrat with that kind of record. She wants to have a say in how our country spends money? No thanks!
You Doheny staffers are so obvious!
I'm not a Doheny staffer. A staffer would know they cannot win people over being so mean and matter of fact as I am.
I will, however, be voting against freestuff Owens. And that most likely means voting for Doheny. I would give my vote to Greene if she miraculously won the primary using her genius strategy of staying invisible until the eleventh hour. I mean I would have before I read her outrageously irresponsible personal financial situation.
Me thinks you Doheny staffers doth protest too much.
Prithee tell whither Greene's green withered to? Me thinks she doth spend too much.
