A Debate in Wanakena ?

When the subject of a Doheny-Greene debate came up last week, I joked to myself that they would try to schedule it for Wanakena to keep it from being covered...
Sure enough, the Ranger School invited both candidates (with no prompting from Team Doheny, they say) to participate in the world's most obscure debate...far from even the lazy NNY media.
Come on guys, let's make it look at least a little legit....Can't those overpriced colleges in St. Lawrence County sponsor something John Friot can find his way to ?

C'mon Jeff, you aren't talking about our beloved St Loooowrence are you? All them gradjiates go on to take six digit jobs counting buses with our schools, or otherwise loving children. It be a wonderful way to pay off the money wasted on educational theory classes and studying how to be sensitive to minorities while secluded in a lilly white high dollar park in Canton.

John -

Just curious: Are you suggesting someone from any of the three Johnson Newspapers can't make it to Fine to cover this debate?

I find that hard to believe.

What did you expect? Doheny has lots to hide and Wanakena is a good place to do that.

Hey, Anonymous 8:44,

Can you read? Wanakena invited BOTH candidates...the candidates did NOT "invite" themselves to Wanakena. Right here in Jefferson County, the college invites candidates to debate on a regular basis. I know that the Mayor had a debate there last year, and the sheriff candidates debated there. What makes you think a candidate selects the location for a debate? Or do you just hate Mr. Doheny so much that every remark you make has to be from the tip of your poison pen? Lighten up!

Obviously the debate should take place close to the heart of the district. The biggest city with the most republican voters. Watertown!

Or should it be in the center of the district? Nah...the world revolves around Watertown and its dinosaur media.

I am from Washington Co. and I think you will find out that the new counties coming into the district are far more conservative and republican than even Watertown. I know of two conservative groups Mr. Doheny has spoken before and I feel confident in saying that none of the people at these meetings will be voting for Mr. Doheny in the Primary.
