Whatever traction the campaign of Bill Owens thought it got off the gotcha photos in Gawker, has been lost with the discourse over Mr. Owens lobbyist funded trip to Taiwan.
Now a watchdog group is calling for a probe.....Nobody in politics benefits from "probe launched" headlines. On the other hand, its not a death knell as I know.

I hate to see the makers resort to the underhanded tactics of the takers with this gotcha Taiwan moment. There is no probe necessary other than to have Owens explain why he voted for Obamacare.
Where has Mikey been during all this? I miss his constant drumbeat of foolishness. You'd expect him to be interested in things like this. Maybe not.
He already explained his vote for ObamaCare. First, he lied about the input he received from his constituents. He claimed we supported it. He's a liar and he knows it. Secondly, he was given the order to vote for it during a break period granted by his owner, Nancy Pelosi. That vote did it for me. I will never vote for a Nancy lap dog.
Never vote for a "Pelosi" lapdog, eh - but a Boehner / Cantor / McConnell rock-solid, lock-step GOP lapdog is just fine, right?

Mike has explained in his normal long winded verbiage that he is boycotting this site. He believes the Mayor is in bed for Doheny and his attack dog. So he no longer will play here.
Listen to Dannie talk about lock step party line folk. Dan, you haven't expressed an independent thought in years. Is Owen's status with Pelosi making you jealous? If so, just ask. I'm sure she'd grant you an audition. Goodness knows you've mouthed her party line for years and years. A little reward might be in order.
