You should read Wall St Journal its all about Matt Doheny and Mitt Romney..
It boils down to simple beliefs, Rich vs Poor and Middle income, Men vs Women,Corporate America vs American Workers..
President Obama isnt perfect neither is Bill Owens but imagine just imagine the other two in office..
I think Owens has served us well and has kept his nose to the grind with a couple of mess ups..
Mr Romney and Mr. Doheny look down on the poor and the programs set up to assist them. They want to end MS research, cut welfare programs, end Wic programs that assist the less fortunate...
They both have had sucess in the Corporate world and thers nothing wrong with that but both have made their fortunes on the backs of less fortunate AmericN WORKERS and both have facilitated slave labor overseas in favor of American workers.....

Graham should not conduct the interview - he is in the tank for Doheny and cannot be expected to "fair or balanced."
A neutral third party should conduct the interview, if it is to have any credibility.
Its beyond me why people in the North Country think, that a Wall Street banker would represent them in congress at all.
It is easy to guess his loyalities.

Anyone that feels Doheny is going to be an asset for us as citizens are really out of it. I know everyone feels He is going to bring new things to this area. Ask him what his feelings are on WIC and Public Assistance. I admit there are people who expect to live off this stuff but I dont see where Matt is going to give us a break. I agree with Dan, Jeff you are to attached you can't do the interview and shouldnt for any Congressional Candidate. I feel you would be biased. You can't go a day without breathing this guys name.

He has had his business in NNY for awhile now..Can anyone point to one company that he has assisted or any jobs(non-campaign related) that he has created? What private equity investments has he made in the North Country?

Most of New York State looks like a wast land and people are fleeing from it due to librul tax and spend FreeStuff policies. Policies such as Obamcare that Owens voted for.
The remarks and fake label about me being "free stuff person" for everything is just plain whacky and childish. Give it a rest. You act like you know me, you do not.
11:16- I suppose he has employed a couple people while constructing his empire of islands, but I have a feeling you were shooting for something that served a purpose for something or someone other than him. So I would have to agree with 1:39. He has done nothing for our economy, citizens or community.
2:46 I am no expert on Doheny. I do know that Owens voted for nancycare which has destroyed millions of jobs and kept investors/businesses from pulling the trigger on hiring. I know that Doheny has a record of saving companies and saving jobs.
I assumed Doheny was concentrating his time and efforts on getting elected to congress to save us from people like Owens/Pelosi/Obama and their ill-conceived policies.
As long as the jobs Doheny created in his election efforts were not paid for by our taxes then those jobs still count. Just as the jobs Owens creates for speeding ticket attorneys, judges and Taiwan travel agencies counts too.
7:48. Thank you...many North Country businesses need access to capital to hire, expand or get off the ground. Doheny has only been interested in running for Congress for his own ambitions...With all the money he has thrown around to political committees, one would think he could have taken his expertise and helped a few companies...
The money and time Doheny has donated to politics pays back a million fold in jobs. Just as Owens has destroyed jobs by voting for nancycare.
Owens is a millionaire too and his promoters would have us believe he has some kind of business expertise. So tell us about all the jobs Owens created and all the businesses he incubated and seeded hear in the north country.
Other than a substance abuse counselor job that may have been created as a result of Doheny’s BOATING WHILE INTOXICATED ARRESTS, I think the only thing that has been increased a ‘million fold’ is your overactive and absurd partisan imagination.
9:00- I agree, donating money to almost anything does in some way create jobs (the money is ultimately spent on someone or something that was created by someone) but every donor could make that claim then and call themselves a "job creator". Doheny says his actual "job", not his donations, has been creating jobs. The other posters are simply saying that the private equity investing done by his current or prior companies hasn't been done locally.
