Addie Gets to Vote as She Pleases...Because She Has No Foe

Assemblywoman Addie Russell voted in favor of raising the minimum wage, even though the Governor's office says it will not become law this session.
Ms. Russell can vote as she pleases on any issue she wants, as local Republicans now say candidly they have no candidate to run against her in the district running from Watertown to Massena.

Isn't there a Rose Ward of the GOP they can put up as a sacrificial lamb ?
How They Voted On Minimum Wage

Jeff, quit it with the poll on Owens and the DoMan. The deal was hacked, the results are even more meaningless than they would have been in the first place. Next time you have to find a way to secure it better.

As far as Addie Jenne Whatever, you don't mean that SHE gets to vote as she please, you mean that Shelly Silver gets to vote as he pleases. "Addie, you missed an ashtray over here."

Bill Nelsons chances of becoming the GOP canidate were dashed when he narrowly avoided losing the last two elections.
Mr Prim and Proper can run the mayors association for whatever the term is clear his throat every two minutes

She cannot vote as she pleases. She has to vote for free stuff like free raises for all the minimum wage employees. If she voted against free stuff to many times then some liberal would jump in and defeat her in a heartbeat. Someone like DEDE.

Right now what has she done for us??? Oh the JCIDA pension scam.

I sincerely hope your implication about Rose Ward wasn't humorously intended.
When I first met her Rose was running against Assemblyman Bob Nortz and she talked in campaign finance reform and the insideous lobbying that happens in Albany. She was a tireless worker for former Lt. Gov. MaryAnn Krupsak. When the JCDC gave Rose a lifetime achievement award an aging Ms. Krupsak travelled here to do her testimonial. In her late years Rose failed quite badly. She could be seen wearing mismatched shoes sometimes and having to get assistance in finding her car. But make no mistake. Rose always spoke and stood for important issues and supported the people who addressed those issues. When I ran for Assembly I could always count on seeing Rose in the first row applauding. She was my friend. Please don't make fun of her.

There will always be employment in NYS for people who mouth the Donkey party line. They will either be payed at the State Office Building or be mailed a check, as our friend Dannie has arranged. Hey, its a living. Not really an honest one but these are trying times.
