Mitt Romney continues to slog towards the GOP nomination with a five point win in Wisconsin and larger margin victories in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
Rick Santorum says the fight continues, at least through Pennsylvania on the 24th in hopes he wins his home state and can make it to more friendly states like TX and NC in May.
President Obama is convinced Mr. Romney is the nominee and has already started naming him by name in his campaign for a second term.
A Romney win in PA clearly ends the race, but the WI win was less than overwhelming considering the state's GOP establishment was all in for Mitt.

I don't recall you talking about how less than overwhelming the primary wins were with Hillary and Obama. two strong candidates split the vote closer than one strong and one weak. The vote outcome says nothing about either candidate individually, it only says how they compare to one another.
Written last year,
Where’s the Middle-Class Gonna Go?
This is the question that will get answered in the 2012 election. The Republican Party is being less blatant then Democrats about taking the Democratic Middle-Class for granted in their strategy.
Guess what Mr. President, Governors, Senators or Congressman the answer may surprise you. Just as Albany isn’t a one restaurant town, America isn’t a one Party system. The attitude that ‘Middle Class Voters’ can only find a safe haven in the Democratic Party is ludicrous. A little respect please.
You have to understand the nature of political probing and the Democrats should have learned something about the Republican Party's ability to probe for info in the last election. The Republicans are very good about finding weak spots and then stealing Democratic voter's issues; ultimately getting many Middle-Class Democrats to vote Republican.
A few reminders: The Republican Party stole issues like, ‘Property Tax Relief’ which they weren’t really talking about in the run up to the 2010 election like Democrats. Yet 90 days before voters went to the polls Republicans owned ‘Property Tax Relief,’ and also latched onto the idea that they would create more Jobs then the Democrats. The Jobs! Job! Jobs! Democrats have gone into selective memory loss on job creation since 2010 and the ‘Property Tax Cap’ is beginning to look pretty puny in NYS; where tax payers have been robbed blind by greedy local and state governments.
The question shouldn’t be ‘Where they gonna go?’ it should be ‘How do we stop the Middle-Class from fleeing to the Republican Party?’ The Republicans are out to make the case that they can secure loans for ‘Small Businesses’ and get Mortgage money lent to young people who want homes; as long as they have a decent job. Job creation and getting a mortgage are the things that the Middle-Class will respond to this election, and the growing the bubble comments by Gov. Chris Christie and Presidential candidate Mitt Romney make it clear that they understand which way the wind is blowing and are now getting serious about job creation.
The idea of a government that can’t get its own banks to lend money to the Middle-Class after those banks being given a One Trillion dollar infusion by
Timothy Geithner, Secretary of Treasury, is really galling and at best appears to be a real albatross around President Obama’s chance at re-election. I think these guys had better start getting real humble and ready to talk about how they can improve Middle-Class prospects real soon.
I'm not saying the Republicans can’t make you scratch your head with their stupidity. It’s epic. But if I had to call it now I’d say Middle-Class voters will need to take it out on the Party in power so as a rule of dumb, just consider this Presidential contest in 2012 a nail biter...
Mike Flynn ‘Middle Class Mike’
Sorry Mikey but I could not get past the first sentence.
Please rename yourself.
As a former middle class guy that is now an uber, I can tell you that you are not a middle class guy. Middle class was never about free stuff.
How about the taker class? Work for you?
9:48, Stop being a sucker! The real "takers" are the thugs on Wall St. It should be a no brainer even for a dumb ass Republican like you. Smarten up fool!
When 9:48pm says he “couldn’t get past the first sentence”, what he really means it’s too much for his tiny brain to comprehend.
