Strange area. Years ago for a former employer, I interviewed several applicants for a job opening in Glens Falls. Two of the applicants showed up drunk another could barely read. Then again, they were probably conceived at one of the many watering holes in the area so you could say it's in their blood.
Glens Falls is hundred and ten percent better than Watertown. They also can survive and thrive without a military base. Living here and being from Glens Falls there is no comparison. Sorry to burst your bubble.
7:19... don't judge a whole area by a few knuckleheads. I visit GF quite often for work and I find it to be a great area with good people and lots to do. There are plenty of drunks and illiterates right here in good old Jeffco.
