17 Year Old Gift Card Produced at Pete's
You know those gift cards you get and forget to use...Well, tonight someone came into Pete's and produced a 17 year old gift card for $10.
It was honored.
Of course now, they use plastic cards, but this was a cardboard one.

17 years ago they would have got a nice dinner for the card, today this probably just about covered the appetizer.
Nice of Pete's to make good on it though. Good people there!
Remember when the state was going to confiscate all the unused gift cards like NJ is doing?
The state noticed that businesses make a good income on unredeemed gift cards to the extent that a large percentage are never redeemed. So the state said, "Hey...I should take that for myself!"

For sure. Shows a nice place with standards. You couldn't walk into Pizza Hut with a 17 year old card and have it honored. Good reason to go there.
