You Can't Quench Your Thirst With Clothing

OK Patty, enough with the clothing tax exemptions...How about some sin tax exemptions for those of us who sell the Devil's Brew ?

It helps the consumer out in hard times, but means more P.I.T.A. book keeping for the businesses.

I've got a better idea. How about cutting the price of gas in half if you politicians really want to help us out?

I totally agree with 9:11.

Once before when gas prices went so high, NYS gave relief of some taxes over a certain dollar amount in gas cost. Why not do that again.

No wonder this damn state is in such a fiscal mess when they don't want to collect taxes on some sales but beat the taxpayer to death in other areas !! Not fair to those who don't go clothes & shoe shopping all the damn time but still have to make up the difference so others can!

So those who really can't afford new clothes will spend money foolishly! If the municipalities are hurting for tax money an exemption is just stupid! I don't care if the sales tax was 15% because I can regulate that. When real estate taxes go up I have no choice! Patty is just schmoozing for votes! You lost mine!
