Primary wins tonight in Alabama and Mississippi give Rick Santorum a boost and Mitt Romney's twin third place finishes speak for themselves.
Mr. Romney had all the establishment and much of the money behind him but still cannot score above 30% in the Deep South.
Tonights races change little in the delegate calculus because everybody picked up some and Romney still leads.
Newt Gingrich finished a close second in state's he needed to win....Ego may keep him in the race and prevent Santorum from getting the one on one he needs.

Media has spent all its energy saying what Dannie just said. There's a pattern there. Media wants this to discredit Romney as much as it can and Dannie types are just reading what they are mailed. A few more months of $4-$5 gasoline and it won't matter. And remember, the Hillary/Obama race went on longer than this. But again, media and Dannie types won't tell you that. And there was no talk of either not getting part of the vote. Nope, that was just normal stuff to a Dannie type. It do get funny but stays predictable.
When it all unfolds it will be a simple choice in the fall..

Mikey keeps hoping for Hoffman to get back in. He keeps telling us Doheny will get beat and then he tries to send a subliminal message through this blog to Hoffman that people still support him and he should run.
Subliminal message? Please!!!! How come you never mention Kellie Greene-she's running? Doug Hoffmnan will make his own call and then they'll have to run against Rep. Bill Owens. Republican challanger Matt Doheny has to beat the perception, that this a money candidate representing Wall Street money in Wash, DC. Matt can't win in these economically hard times, where so many people struggle.

The takers verse the makers. This time around it will be one on one so Doheny and the makers will win.
Greene is not "running". Tell her to give Doheny a call and he can tell her what it means to be running. It means you show up more than a few months before the contest. And it means you are not afraid to talk to the media and the big bad hotline. He means you put the time and effort in and get out and meat the voters. She cannot run her whole campaign via facebook.
Mikey is a simple man. Party line at all times. No thought to anything. A complete joke. An underachieving joke at that.
I gotta subliminal message for Mike. Its a shame his ramblin', partisan, closed and welded mind cannot be entrenched in a classroom full of captive kids. He's exactly what parents of NNY deserve. Is that not subliminal? Ooops.
Wise up. Primary votes for the Republicans are dominated by Conservatives. It shouldn't surprise anyone that the race continues. As stated previously, the Obama vs Clinton contest went on longer than this and we heard nothing about "can't close the deal" then. We can understand Dan Francis doing his usual partisan BS. But Jeff, you should know better. And on this day that was supposed to be so bad for Romney, he ended up winning more delegates than anyone else, again. No mention of it in mainstream media. They're busy doing the Dannie dance, trying to discredit Romney. Dan, don't you get tired of being such a puppet of a political party?
They need a clan like the Kennedys to come out and endorse the underdog. Only not split the family endorsements like they did with Obama and Hillary but instead get them all for the underdog. Maybe the Bush clan could do it.

I think he was making fun of Mitt and saying Mitt would not recognize the dialect in the south because Mitt is so out of touch with the common folk.
The joke doesn't play too well in northern new York because we wouldn't recognize what those rednecks are saying either. Only a fellow redneck transplant from a redneck state, collecting a pension up in the great north country, would recognize his joke.
