Eric Cantor endorses Mitt Romney - NYPOST.com

Mitt Romney has more establishment support with the endorsement this AM from the House Majority Leader Eric Cantor. Yesterday Mr. Romney won the Washington State caucuses and Tuesday he is expected to do well enough in ten primaries and caucuses to secure his path to the GOP nomination.
While still not the favorite of many, the Romney campaign has the resources to grind out the nomination process and no other candidates seems able to become the viable and acceptable anti-Romney candidate.
Republicans will get used to Mr. Romney as their nominee...They will have to...Unless there is a series of upsets on Tuesday. First among them would have to be Santorum wins in Ohio, Oklahoma and Tennessee coupled with a Gingrich win in GA and a weak showing by Mr. Romney in VA and other less contested states.

While Cantor made the pragmatic and correct endorsement he should have kept his mouth shut and let the voters decide.

It was very disgusting to watch in '08 as each time Hillary gained ground with the voters a new racist misogynist super-delegate would come out for Obama and cut her off at the knees. If they had left it up to the voters then Hillary would have won the nomination. And Hillary would probably of forced Nancy out as speaker, skipped the porkulus package and passed a national healthcare plan that did not suck.

Hillary did try to get a national health plan rammed through and it was just about as bad as the one Obama got. Give me a break! When are you people going to get it through your heads that government involment in ANYTHING results in an exspensive screwed up mess. Why do you think Briton is now propsing to privatize protions of their government healthcare system? Because it costs far more than private health care and service is drasticly reduced. Their survival rate for breast cancer is horribly low, and survival rates for about everything else is way below what it is here. It is not uncommon for breast cancer victims to wait 6 months for treatment. We need less goverment involvement in health care, NOT more, so that insurance companies can come up with more inovative plans that they are now prevented from doing by federal or state laws.

5:48 is spectacularly wrong. britain's healthcare system is way more socialized than ours and also way cheaper.

Settle down Rushbo...
I did not endorse Government healthcare I simply pointed out correctly that the proposed health care advocated by Hillary was 1000 times better than Obam/nancy/Owens-care.

Hers was based on the Hawaiian system that is working, (although the population of Hawaii as about the size of the Buffalo area, so it has never been tested on something the size of a real state much less a country).

Whereas Obama-care raids grandmas medicare to pay for free no copay birth control. It costs billions in stupid 1099's and it takes over the student loan program. And that is just the tip of the iceberg as to why it sucks worse than Hillary-care.

If it is working so good, why is Briton looking into privatizing portions of it? In their own words, "It's too exspensive and the quality of care is poor". And if you think Hillary- care is so good then move to Hawai and leave the rest of us alone. We have the best health care system on the planet right here. There is nothing wrong with it that a little NON-GOVERNMENT tweaking won't cure. Our recovery rates from life threatening illnesses is far higher than any of the socialized medical systems anywhere. Your last paragraph is spot on, though. And while Hillary-care may have been a better plan than Obama-care, it was still a 100% government takeover of the healthcare system in this country. As Maggie Thatcher said,"Socialism is great until somebody else's money runs out". And it WILL run out and then we will be in the same shape as Greece, Italy and Spain.

There is nothing about the welfare state of Once Great Britain that we should envy. But I'm not surprised the Kimwint Thrust is telling us how great they are. The economy of Europe is in shambles. But in Klimwit's world, the government over there is just the neatest thing. Just wait till Obamacare gets to an orifice near you. Have you noticed this year how much it has already saved you? Limwit, like Dannie, is a government employee/dependent, so he doesn't have to care.
