There are 38 million binge drinkers and according to the definition offered, I am not one of them...
Eight drinks on one occasion, four times a month gets you in the club. I do have something to drink pretty much every day, as long as I don't have a cold or the flu.
I get tired of the righteous trying to define people as sinners in need of their services...Some people drink too much...always been true...just don't drive, or throw a wine bottle at your dog and you are OK.

Hell it's like the rules they use to call a person an drunk. The fact that you drink every day, drink alone, try to hide it, and fall down a lot. What the hell do they know?
I'll bet my nickel to your stale ginger snap that whoever came up with this used it to procure another nice big fat government grant to "continue this important work for the benifit of mankind". whaddaaya think folks?
38 million out of a population of 300 million?...not too bad.
On a lighter note, what's the difference between a drunk and an alcoholic?
A drunk doesn't have to go to meetings. ;)
No Max, the difference is an alcoholic just drinks whenever he can, while a drunk gets a government check to finance his hobby.
How the hell can the government complain about drinking when they issue checks to people just for doing what they love best?
