The state budget is out and aid to cities is unchanged. Meanwhile the proposed Tier Six pension plan is out there too....
I will have to read up on the details, but if it includes a defined contribution component, that would be a plus.
There will be weeks of fighting over teacher grading...but that doesn't affect me.

The fighting over teacher grading will affect you in one way. Wasting time on it will mean they won't be spending time on the real reforms that education needs.
3:45 is exactly right. And that was the goal of NYSUT all along. Everything the teachers union does is intended to stall "on the real reforms that education needs".
