Carl Paladino is Harry Truman on steroids....And fun to listen to.
The GOP gubernatorial nominee in 2010 got beat soundly by Andrew Cuomo, but that doesn't stop Mr. Paladino from speaking his mind....He speaks it about what he sees as the phony claims by the Governor and the sellout by the GOP leadership in the Senate.
Crazy Carl may never win, but he makes it interesting....And since the GOP has no candidates for statewide office, he is the next best thing.

You forgot to call him "crazy".
And he is right.
Well, we are still talking about him because it's still free country (somewhat) and Carl is right. Andy hasn't really solved anything as far as the states finacial woes are concerned AND the State's Republican party tail-between-it's-legs performance is as thoroughly digusting as Carl is making it out to be. Besides, just like Jeff said, he's fun to listen to. Does anyone remember Robert (B-1 Bob) Dornan? He kept the U.S. House of Represenatives in an uproar all the time. Sharp guy, kept his opponents on their toes, but got himself into a lot of arguments with his blunt style. Made politics entertaining.
Actually, he's right. We haven't cut a thing and we are acting like we did. We did raise taxes after lying about that issue. This is one reason I think Obama is a shoo-in for reelection. People do not want to change anything. Not as long as their money is still working. We're back to screwing our kids. And they don't gripe much.
