It's just a total shame people do this stuff...Whether hoax or the real deal, school district officials have to take threats seriously given the number of school shooting incidents nationwide.....
Superintendent Fralick is certainly a level headed sort and with word circulating of a school shooting incident coming on Tuesday, precautions are being taken. Some parents have posted on Facebook they will keep kids home....
It's all understandable....but also sad....

I know you don't run the Police Dept. and the School system Mr. Mayor. Why isn't someone from the school or the police on the radio and tv telling us what it's all about and what is really being done? Just having Jeff C. come on for 3 sec.s and telling us extra police are involved doesn't help. Channel 7 gave more time to the city meeting this morn. because of who was there. A statement was needed. My Mom called last night crying out of control. I hope someone's happy. She could have had a heart attack.

Ray tell your mom to breathe into a paper bag next time she calls in a panic.Sorta kiddin,but make her laugh first.. one cant get all upset over unsubstantiated rumors..the boys in blue were obviously all over this,and will continue to be,so tell her no worries..you cant live your life worrying about what might happen so ignore silly nonsense on facebook for crying out loud..(though I do have this recurrent nightmare of Idi Amin sneaking up on me with a barbecue fork and a chef hat..that does make me nervous) hope your mother is okay!
She's good. She's old and anything she hears is true. So my real answer is hang the people who started it in the first place.
too bad that none of this actually was stated for tuesday..... smh rumors......
